Bi-parting cantilever gates for 20 m+ openings

Two synchronized leaves meet in the middle, halving travel distance and opening time on very wide entrances.

Double or opposite opening

In double opening, both leaves run on the same line and their centers must align so they meet cleanly. In opposite opening, the leaf centers are offset by about 40 cm so the two leaves pass each other without collision.

A shared controller keeps both drives synchronized, and each side has its own infrared sensors and safety edge.

When to split one leaf into two

One leaf can clear up to 18 m, but its total length is about 1.5 times the opening, so it needs a lot of side space and takes longer to open. Two leaves need less run-back on each side and open in half the time.

Airports, ports, bus depots and stadium service roads are typical cases.
