Cantilever gate installation, step by step
Foundations, embedded parts, carriages and commissioning, condensed from our installation manual.

Installation sequence
Tools: tape measure, screwdriver, drill, wrench, grinder, impact drill, hex key, spirit level, hammer, chalk line and marker.
Mark the baseline
Snap a chalk line along the wall to check the column and ground are plumb and level. Mark the pit center 40 cm from the line.
Dig pits and trench
Dig 80 x 80 x 80 cm pits and a 10 x 10 x 10 cm cable trench. Take the highest ground point as the reference level.
Lay conduit
Embed a 60 mm PVC conduit between cabinets. Leave the six-core cable 1.5 m above ground.
Pour and level plates
Pour concrete flush with the ground, set the embedded plates and level gantry, cabinet and hanger wheels to one plane.
Mount cabinet first
After curing, fix the cabinet and rear hanger wheel, then the gantry. Connect the embedded cable at the breaker terminal.
Set wheel heights
Set the rear hanger wheel about 1.5 cm lower than the front cabinet support wheel, using the lever principle.
Hang and align the leaf
Assemble the bottom beam connectors, insert the bars and tension rods, and check the leaf runs level.
Commission
Set limits, test infrared beams, safety edge and emergency stop, then hand the manual to the user.

Safety rules from the manual
Disconnect power before installation, inspection or maintenance. Fit an independent switch and a 6 A breaker and check the ground connection.
Do not install near flammable or explosive materials. Keep children and unauthorized people away during installation and testing, and show the user how to operate the gate by hand in an emergency.

Wind and coastal sites
With optional embedded base reinforcement the gate is designed for wind of roughly force 8 to 12, depending on model, material thickness and reinforcement. For typhoon coasts we can enlarge the bottom beam, add embedded parts, brace both sides and fit a stronger motor.
